  SECTION 121.571. Contributions.

  • 1Contributions to the Florida Retirement System Investment Plan shall be made as follows:
    14(1) 15CONTRIBUTORY PLAN.17-18Each employer and employee shall submit contributions as required by s. 29121.7130.
    31(2) 32CONTRIBUTION RATES GENERALLY.35-36Contributions to fund the retirement, disability, and line-of-duty death benefits provided under this part must be based on the uniform contribution rates established by s. 61121.71 62and on the membership class or subclass of the member. Such contributions must be allocated as provided in ss. 81121.72, 82121.73, 83and 84121.73585.
    86(3) 87CONTRIBUTIONS FOR SOCIAL SECURITY COVERAGE AND FOR RETIREE HEALTH INSURANCE SUBSIDY.98-99Contributions required under s. 103121.71 104are in addition to employer and member contributions for social security and the Retiree Health Insurance Subsidy Trust Fund as required under ss. 127112.363, 128121.052, 129121.055, 130and 131121.071, 132as appropriate.
