1(1) 2A member of the governing body of a special district, as defined in s. 16189.012, 17who exercises the powers and duties of a state or a county officer, is subject to the Governor’s power under s. 7(a), Art. IV of the State Constitution to suspend such officers. 49(2) 50A member of the governing body of a special district, as defined in s. 64189.012, 65who exercises powers and duties other than that of a state or county officer, is subject to the suspension and removal procedures under s. 89112.5190.
