SECTION 1012.44. Qualifications for certain persons providing speech-language services.

1The State Board of Education shall adopt rules for speech-language services to school districts that qualify for the sparsity supplement as described in s. 251011.62(7)26. These services may be provided by baccalaureate degree level persons for a period of 3 years. The rules shall authorize the delivery of speech-language services by baccalaureate degree level persons under the direction of a certified speech-language pathologist with a master’s degree or higher.
