  SECTION 1007.264. Persons with disabilities; admission to postsecondary educational institutions; substitute requirements; rules and regulations.

  • 1(1) 2A student with a disability who is otherwise eligible shall be eligible for reasonable substitution for any requirement for admission into a public postsecondary educational institution where documentation can be provided that the person’s failure to meet the admission requirement is related to the disability.
    47(2) 48The State Board of Education, in consultation with the Board of Governors, shall adopt rules to implement this section for Florida College System institutions and shall develop substitute admission requirements where appropriate.
    80(3) 81The Board of Governors, in consultation with the State Board of Education, shall adopt regulations to implement this section for state universities and shall develop substitute admission requirements where appropriate.
