  SECTION 1000.02. Policy and guiding principles for the Florida K-20 education system.

    9(a) 10To achieve within existing resources a seamless academic educational system that fosters an integrated continuum of kindergarten through graduate school education for Florida’s students.
    34(b) 35To promote enhanced academic success and funding efficiency of educational delivery systems by aligning responsibility with accountability.
    52(c) 53To provide consistent education policy across all educational delivery systems, focusing on students.
    66(d) 67To provide substantially improved articulation across all educational delivery systems.
    77(e) 78To provide for the decentralization of authority to the schools, Florida College System institutions, universities, and other education institutions that deliver educational services to the public.
    104(f) 105To ensure that independent education institutions and home education programs maintain their independence, autonomy, and nongovernmental status.
